The Ukrainian ministry's season totals run from 1 July, the start of its marketing year: in its 31 July 2026 edition, the 2026/2027 season total equals the July column. Two seasons can only be compared at a comparable point of the season.
The ministry publishes a "grains and pulses" total, wider than wheat, corn and barley combined. When an edition lacks this total, the page shows the sum of the three crops under the label "wheat, corn and barley".
The ministry compares each total with the previous season as of a date it prints, which is not always the same day a year earlier: the 26 October 2026 edition is compared with 31 October 2025. The previous-season column carries that date.
