It is Europe's benchmark oilseed contract, with a strong correlation to CBOT canola and US soybeans. The ECO price is driven by vegetable oil and European biodiesel demand, USDA global oilseed balances (rapeseed/canola, palm oil, soybeans), and crop conditions in France, Germany, Ukraine and Canada.
