About FGIS export flows

US export data published by the FGIS (Federal Grain Inspection Service) every Monday tracks grain volumes inspected for export from US ports. These weekly flows allow real-time monitoring of global demand for US wheat, corn and soybeans, and help detect signals ahead of the monthly WASDE publication.

Update : Every Monday ~15:00 UTC

FGIS (Federal Grain Inspection Service) data published every Monday tracks grain volumes inspected and weighed at US ports. These weekly flows are a leading indicator of WASDE exports, available 3 weeks before official customs data. US trade flow covers wheat by class (HRS, HRW, SRW, Soft White, Durum), corn, sorghum and soybeans. The breakdown by destination (Gulf Coast vs Pacific Northwest) and by buyer country identifies global demand trends ahead of the monthly USDA WASDE report.
