US export data published by the FGIS (Federal Grain Inspection Service) every Monday tracks grain volumes inspected for export from US ports. These weekly flows allow real-time monitoring of global demand for US wheat, corn and soybeans, and help detect signals ahead of the monthly WASDE publication.
The source report occasionally amends previously published weeks retroactively (per-commodity, per-destination additions or subtractions). These corrections are logged internally but are not applied back to the weekly series shown here, which reflect what was originally published.
The per-class breakdown excludes shipments to Canada: the report counts them in the national total, but its class table treats them as storage transit rather than exports. The per-class detail can therefore fall slightly below the week's wheat volume. Observed twice over the 32 weeks covered, 998 t each time.
