World consumption figures are sourced from the USDA PSD API 'Domestic Consumption' attribute, which may differ slightly from the 'Total Consumption' figure in the monthly WASDE report (~4 Mt difference for wheat).

The WASDE (World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates) report is published monthly by the USDA. It presents global supply and demand balances for major grains: wheat, corn, soybeans, barley and rapeseed. The stocks-to-use ratio is the key indicator: below 20%, markets historically enter an upward tension zone.
