Exports of common wheat, barley and corn from the European Union every week, and from France outside the EU every month: dated and sourced figures.
Analysis: Aziz Laaziz
A season runs from 1 July to 30 June. European Union totals stop at the last published week and are compared with the same week of earlier seasons. French totals stop at the last published month and are compared with the same months.
The European Union figures are weekly: they come from the European Commission's customs surveillance, published every week. The French figures are monthly: they come from Eurostat's external trade statistics, which are complete for France and published every month.
"Outside the EU" means shipments to countries that are not members of the European Union. Trade between member states is included in neither source.
Common wheat means grain, excluding durum wheat, flour and semolina. The two sources do not draw its boundary in exactly the same way: European Union figures and French figures should not be added together or compared with each other.
