The 11 September 2026 report raises world wheat ending stocks by 3.04 Mt to 276.29 Mt. This is the largest revision of the month. Production gains 3.13 Mt to 822.43 Mt, driven by Australia (+3.00 Mt), Canada (+1.00 Mt) and Ukraine (+0.60 Mt), while the rest of the world falls 1.47 Mt.
Corn goes the other way. Production is cut by 7.93 Mt to 1,290.95 Mt, mainly in the United States (-5.42 Mt), India (-2.00 Mt) and Russia (-0.70 Mt). Stocks fall 2.56 Mt to 272.10 Mt.
Australia also weighs on barley and rapeseed: +3.00 Mt of a 3.80 Mt world increase for barley, +1.00 Mt of 1.88 Mt for rapeseed. Barley stocks gain 1.23 Mt, rapeseed stocks 0.35 Mt. Soybeans edge down to 124.02 Mt (-0.19 Mt).
In the end, the wheat stock cushion widens, to 33.6% of use, and corn's tightens, to 20.7%.
